Fun on Friday: October 2020 Phenology Tracker

October is here and it’s time for a new monthly phenology chart.

Here is what I am using to keep track of the daily temperature, sunrise and sunset, and other nature observations I make this month.

You can make your own phenology chart in any form you like.

Did you keep one for September?

What changes did you notice?

What surprised you the most?

I am always astonished by how quickly the sunrise and sunset change over the month. How about you?

Keeping track of nature every day is fun. Our natural world is changing all the time, and when we observe it on a daily basis, we become so much more aware of the fascinating events happening around us all the time.

Have a great first weekend in October. What changes do you see think you will find in nature this weekend?
